Adventure Playground

The project aimed to provide a wide range of interconnected and challenging play elements – designed to encourage and boost children’s confidence – developing coordination and strength. We combined a series of raised platforms, with various routes up and down and a rope jungle bridge connecting the two main towers – plus swinging monkey rings. An undercroft den area was incorporated, providing seating for quieter social play. The playground was built to comply with BSEN Guidelines 1176/1177 and an independent inspection and a PII report were included. Materials include: Robinia poles; Larch decking; steel-core nylon-wound ropes and stainless-steel rubber-grip monkey rings – with shock-pad underlay beneath an artificial turf carpet.
