About Us

Our clients are at the heart of everything we do

Clients are at the heart of all we do

Our approach

Our design process starts with a free consultation where we assess the project space and confirm the client's brief & wishlist. We then make a series of sketches, developing a range of ideas before we present a first draft proposal. Through further liaison & research, we fine-tune our concepts until the client is happy with the ideas. We then present a layout plan and perspective drawings to the client for approval - along with a detailed breakdown of costs, descriptions & supporting  photographs

Materials matter

We carefully select all materials for their durable & aesthetic qualities – avoiding  rot-prone or perishable materials that simply don’t last. We source the majority of our materials from local & UK sources & only use FSC Certified timber - for example our hardwood Robinia poles are sourced from sustainably managed forests. We use a wide range of fully-recycled materials – specifically ‘Plaswood’ and ‘Stokbord’ – both made from 100% recycled plastic agricultural waste.

Durability &  sustainability

We are deeply committed to minimising and controlling our impact on the environment and reuse excavated materials wherever possible. Our entire ethos centres around durability and sustainability. All too often we see short-term approaches where poor material selection and construction methods result in structures rotting away or falling into disrepair far too quickly. This goes against everything we stand for – when you work with us, we provide you with a long-lasting outcome.

Aftercare & Inspections

We maintain close relationships with our clients after a project is complete, returning to make periodic checks of our work. Most often we find no repairs are required - but we are  just a phone call away if minor issues arise.

We provide a comprehensive maintenance  inspection service for all aspects of playground equipment and installations. Our expert understanding of BSEN Play Safety Guidelines enables us to identify whether equipment is safe or not, and recommend repairs or alterations where necessary. We provide the client with a comprehensive report on the condition of their playgrounds, a detailed list of any maintenance requirements, plus a detailed breakdown of costs to carry out any work. Our active play structures are always inspected & validated by an independent ROSPA playground inspector, followed up with a comprehensive & impartial (PII) report to ensure full compliance with BSEN Guidelines 1176 & 1177

Bespoke products

All of our products are custom built to fit the space for which they are intended - meaning the end result is what’s best for you, not an off-the-shelf solution that ultimately doesn’t work well in your outdoor area. These products tend to be smaller in nature & offer great value for clients with smaller budgets. These items include: playhouses; mud kitchens; musical instruments; tree seats; sandpits; buggy shelters; raised planters; wall-mounted art boards; sensory panels/fencing & sandpits  - all especially popular with pre-school children. We can often create these products in our workshop, meaning a short installation time & therefore less disruption to our clients

Meet the Directors

We are a trusted, friendly and dedicated team with over 20 years experience designing & creating beautiful outdoor spaces. We take pride in all we do, always going that extra mile to make our clients happy.
