Bespoke Playground

The adventure playground was designed to help develop children’s fine motor skills, improve coordination and build muscle strength – perhaps most importantly to foster a sense of confidence. It was equally essential that the playground was designed for fun! We built the main playground structures combining multi-level play decks, scramble nets, fire-pole slide, log steps, monkey swings, a tunnel den, under croft seating, balance beams, and a revamped mud kitchen – with shock-pad underlay and hard-wearing Proplay artificial turf surfacing. All aspects constructed to meet relevant BSEN guidelines, following an independent Post-Installation Inspection (PII). We also turned an underused shelter space into zoned areas for outdoor learning, quiet times, and role play. And we built a small performance stage with inset seating, wrapped by a raised sensory garden. A tarmac area was then made into a bike track. All elements were built to withstand heavy daily use, with materials selected for their durability.
