Emelia's Sensory Garden

Named after the staff member who instigated the idea, we designed and built this enclosed hexagonal sensory garden. As well as creating a quieter space great for relaxing away from the playground areas, or to hold class activities, the raised beds are planted for maximum sensory experience with plants chosen for their scents, colours, spectacular flowers, and tactile qualities. The central polished steel mirror ball water feature is a constant source of fascination for the children.
